Yay! it has been ages since I wrote in my blog and I really missed
it. This has been a modern diary, and the only difference is that it's
posted publicly and not the typical kind of diary that we used to hide
under the bed after we write on it so no one could read it. And now here
it is- what we called BLOG where we can express through writing
anything under the sun!.
After
several months of anticipation for my little handsome to grow , look
how is he growing now!... 11 months old already and staying handsome...
oh! how I love to play with him, kiss, caress, cuddle, chase him as he
crawls and help him not to hit the floor as he falls from keeping his
balance in tact... whew! I love every single moment I spend with him. He
can utter few words already like "mama", "papa" and "mum" means to eat
when he's starving or he sees me eating, "duh" for dog and "ka" for
cat.. amazing!
I
feel a whole lot younger and more lively when I spend time with my son
and I already memorized more than ten nursery songs hee hee hee!... and
ready to memorize more.
On
a serious side, apart from being a mother/parent to my son means not
only to pamper him, giving him foods, buying him clothes and formula
milk, changing his nappies when it's soiled already. And being a mother
does not end only in pacifying my son, taking him to a park, play with
him, taking him to a Pediatrician when he's sick, making appointments to
his Pediatric Dentist and making sure he is taking his daily
vitamins... oh well, those mentioned above are really important though,
in fact, without doing so everybody will judge you as a careless mother
and will make him nutritionally and caring deprived. But there is more
beyond that mother's task which every mother should do and that is to be
his ever first... TEACHER... and to discover everything about him and
his potentials even in his most delicate age as an infant and then
becoming a toddler...
I
discover that he loves to learn than to play with his toys and that he
loves to turn the pages of his books than watching TV even if turning
the pages gets him cranky and frustrated sometimes but still books are
what makes him fascinated and what makes his brain nurtured with primary
learning. That's why we both love hanging together at the National
Bookstore.. that building with the bright red color on their signage. :)
... He is learning fast and his brain is like sponge that absorbs
knowledge quickly. I only have to catch his most attentive mood and when
he looks receptive and ready that's when I start to teach him, not to
force him, but to give the lesson where we both enjoy it best. Whew!
being a Mother-that's what I am taking as a profession.
